Swiss Steel Group Turning Tool Improves Process Reliability

Ugitech, part of the Swiss Steel Group, showcases the third generation of its Ugima product line. According to the company, Ugima-X, provides productivity increases of 10-20% over the previous generation.
Ugima-X is said to provide optimized cycle times, longer tool service life and improved chip breaking. It was designed to improve process reliability, providing reproducible performance from one batch to another as well as component cost reliability.
Swiss Steel USA can offer this product in three grades: 303, 304L and 316L. Ugima-X 304L is said to offer better corrosion resistance, less risk of cracking and suitable for thin-walled parts compared to older Ugima versions.
Swiss Steel USA offers over 200 grades, including the ability to develop custom products that focus on specific application needs. The company says it services all markets and applications.
