Ingersoll Turning Tool Features Modular Design for Easier Setup
PMTS 2025: Ingersoll WinTwist line features a modular design to facilitate easier setup and to make it simpler to adapt to multispindle and Swiss-type machines.
Ingersoll Cutting Tools showcases its modular WinTwist line, which makes use of the threaded TopOn connection and pre-existing GoldTwist tips. Together with a large selection of TopOn shanks, it is possible to create diameters between 0.236"-0.823" (6.0-20.9 mm).
The WinTwist line’s modular design is said to facilitate easier setup, and makes it simple to adapt to multispindle and Swiss-type machines. Swiss machine specific threaded sleeves, CAT, HSK, C-Adapters, steel and carbide straight shanks, ER collets and Weldon shanks for multidirectional clamping are just a few of the many toolholders available with threaded TopOn connection.
