FluidLynx Offers Intelligent Cooling Lubricant Automation
PMTS 2023: Motorex’s FluidLynx automated fluid management system offers controllable and traceable process reliability, while better protecting workpieces and machines, and optimizing tool life.
Euroline’s Motorex FluidLynx automates water-miscible fluid management with a measuring system developed to reliably and automatically monitor and regulate water-miscible coolants. According to the company, lubricant automation is essential for improving machining productivity.
The system is said to provide controllable, traceable process reliability, while better protecting workpieces and machines, and optimizing tool life. That means better overall efficiency can be achieved and costly incorrect dosing of the coolants can be prevented. The monitoring system also protects employees as the system reduces skin contact with the liquids.
The company says FluidLynx measures the three most important parameters of a water-miscible coolant — concentration, pH value and temperature. As an addition, there is even the possibility of measuring the electrical conductivity of the coolant. The more parameters are measured, the more valuable information there is regarding the condition of the coolants.
The condition monitoring of water-miscible coolants can be conveniently checked via smartphone or computer. If an important parameter of the fluid should change negatively, the user will be informed immediately and can react quickly.
The system is available as FluidLynx Single for one machine or FluidLynx Multi for up to six machines. Thanks to its compact design, the fluid management system can be easily added to existing systems.
Euroline U.S. is the exclusive U.S. importer of Motorex Swissline products.
